MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)
Are you a mom with a child age birth-kindergarten? Are you needing some rest? Or grown-up time? Or time to celebrate what God is doing in your life? Or room to flourish in a new season? Or maybe just some free breakfast you didn’t have to cook? Well, the Powerhouse MOPS group would love for you to join us navigating this beautiful, crazy thing called motherhood. MOPS is a group that believes better moms make a better world, and sometimes it takes a village to raise a kid—and a mom. Whether you’re expecting your first little one or you’ve made your own little league team, you’ll fit right in!
When does MOPS meet?
MOPS meets September through May on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from 9:15am to 11:15am. Membership is $75 for the year and your 1st meeting is always FREE. Scholarships are available for anyone unable to pay the full amount.
What does a MOPS meeting look like?
A typical meeting starts with a hot breakfast, coffee and lively discussion. We invite fun speakers to share on different topics relevant to being a mother, wife, or woman. We also often make a useful craft or other activity that is fun to do with the group.
Is there childcare?
Childcare is provided during all meetings and is free of charge through the MOPPETS program! Our qualified, screened caregivers provide a fun, educational, and nurturing environment for your kids while you take a well-deserved break!
